May I return a part?
Absolutely! In most cases, you can return a part for a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase; however, returns on orders that did not include the VIN will not be accepted.
May I exchange a part?
Yes, we do exchanges only if the new part is of equal or lesser value than the old part AND if your VIN was included in your order. We’ll send you the new part and refund you the difference. If you need to exchange a part for a more expensive part, then you can return the old part and place a new order for the new part.
How do I return or exchange an item?
You can return your part in 3 easy steps:
- Call us at 1-888-294-4979 or email us at email@example.com within 30 days of receipt.
- Mail the part back to us.
- Receive your refund within 5-10 business days.
The return must include:
- The part in its original packaging
- A copy of the invoice
What if you sent me the wrong part?
We apologize if that happens. We’ll take full responsibility and send you the right part immediately.
What if I ordered the wrong part?
If your VIN was included in your order, we can accept the return. If the VIN was not included in your order, we cannot accept a return.
How long do I have to return or exchange a part?
We’ll happily work with you if you decide to return or exchange a part up to 30 days after the original purchase date.
Can I return a part for any reason?
Of course. We don’t ask questions. We’ll accept your return for any reason as long as the part is still unused and in its original packaging.
Can I exchange a part for any reason?
Yes. If you’re not completely satisfied with your part for any reason or if you accidentally ordered the wrong part, we’ll be happy to exchange it for you. All we ask is for the part to be unused and still in its original packaging.
Are there certain parts I can’t return?
We can’t accept any returns on the following items:
- Used parts
- Installed or tried parts
- Electrical parts
- Any order older than 30 days
We also cannot accept exchanges or returns on any order that did not include the VIN.
Do I have to pay any restocking fees?
A 15% restocking fee applies in most cases.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
No. We will provide a prepaid shipping label, which will be deducted from your refund.
How long will it take to receive my refund?
Most refunds take 5-10 business days to process.
How long do returns take to process?
It usually takes up to 10 days.
What if the part is defective or damaged?
The first thing you should do is contact us. Please do not attempt to fix the item. We’ll provide a prepaid shipping label. We’ll send you a new part as soon as we receive the defective one from you.
What if my return never arrives? Do I still get a refund?
No, you will only get your refund if we receive your return package. You may want to keep an eye on the shipment through the tracking number provided on the shipping label. If it gets stuck or lost somewhere, you’ll need to work out the issue with the shipping company and make sure the package gets back to us.
What if someone else purchased the part for me and I want to return or exchange it?
We can only process your return if it comes with the original invoice. If the person can’t provide the invoice, we can work out an exchange.
What is a core return/core charge?
A core charge is the price we’d pay for your old part. You'll get a discounted price on a new part if you send us the old part.
Here’s how the process works: Let’s say we have a $150 part. We’re willing to sell it to you for $100 if you agree to send us the old part, which has a $50 core charge. We’ll sell you the part for $150, and then refund you the $50 core charge when we receive the old part from you. Ultimately, you’ll pay $100 plus your old part for a brand new part that costs $150.
